St. Elizabeth Institute of Health Professional Mukono opened it’s doors for training health workers on the 25th day of October 2005.
Down the road, for now over (17) seventeen years the Institute rank among the best medical tertiary institutions in Uganda. With a single cadre of merely (14) fourteen medical Laboratory certificate students, with whom we started the institute we now boast of having trained over thousands of students in the period of (17) seventeen years who are employed both in Government and private facilities in Uganda and beyond.
And with a single course of a certificate in medical laboratory, with which we started the institute, we now boast of (7) seven courses we are presently offering name;.

Sitting on (7) seven acres of land , the Institute has infrastructual development to include among others, computer theatre; skills laboratories; Medical laboratories; Hostel et cetra.
With the vast land we are owning, in the near future we intend to construct a state of an art hospital for the training of our students and to serve the local community, we therefore intend to upgrade our classrooms and hostels, build a chapel among others.
